A precious little lady

WARNING: This will be long!! :)
I recently got to go home for two weeks and it was an amazing two weeks! It is always great to go home but this time was extra special! A very very very special friend of mine who I have now know for over 20 years had her second baby! A precious little lady! I was thrilled to be able to see them both and miss them madly now that I am back to my life on the other side of the world! I would be absolutely lost without this friend and feel very grateful to have her in my life!

While there I got to take a few photographs of her gorgeous little girl! I have never ever before taken any photographs of a newborn baby and have to say that I was petrified! She was so small and so fragile and I really didn't want to wake her to move her! But we had very little time before I was heading to the airport so we had to make the most of it!
I didn't try any poses or anything, I would prefer to learn more before attempting anything like that! We lay her down on a little white baby blanket in front of a nice big window and starting clicking away!

She was wide awake for all of it despite poor mom trying her best to get her back to sleep!! She even had a big feed and still nothing! I was just grateful she didn't do a poo on the lovely white blanket haha!

Here are some of the photos of this precious little bundle of love! I just want to cuddle her she is so cute!!

So as you can see she is just so precious! She was only 6 days old when I took these and I am so so happy that I got to meet her!

so yeah as you can imagine I have a LOAD of pictures still to edit from the holiday and I have no doubt that my next post will be just as long!! Sorry!!

I hope you have all had a fantastic weekend and are ready to jump straight into next week with a big smile on your face! Thanks for stopping by!!

what beautiful details you've captured! So sweet! You commented on the B+Ws on my blog. I used the free action that Lauren Sanderson posted on CMs - its a grey B+W that mimics one of the CM film art presets. Do a search or look under the pay it forward category. Enjoy!!! x
